"The introduction of martial law does not mean that Ukraine will carry out offensive actions. Ukraine will carry out actions to defend its territory. This does not mean a change in the situation on the front line of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The decision does not provide for immediate mobilization, but work will be carried out with the first-stage reserve The decision will not include restrictions on the constitutional rights of citizens,” Poroshenko noted. The head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Yakov Smoliy, said that the martial law will not affect the work of banks in Ukraine. According to him, all bank branches and offices will operate as usual. Also during the meeting, it was decided that the State Border Service of Ukraine will switch to an enhanced border security and defense regime. “Based on the current situation, we plan to switch to an enhanced regime of border security and defense.
