At the Munich Security Conference, the President of Ukraine again invited Donald Trump to Kyiv. He said that he is ready to take Trump to the front line so that he can see the real state of affairs.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, has once again invited Donald Trump, the US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, to Kyiv to provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the real state of affairs in Ukraine, which is defending itself from Russian aggression. "If Trump wants to come, I'm even ready to go to the front line with him," Zelenskyy said on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, February 17.

"People who make decisions should know what war is like in reality, not on Instagram," the Ukrainian president explained. At the same time, he thanked the USA for the military assistance provided and announced that he was going to meet with American congressmen on the sidelines of the Munich Conference.

Republicans are blocking a new aid package for Ukraine Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that if he wins the presidential elections in the USA, he will stop the war in Ukraine within 24 hours. Trump did not specify how he intends to do this, but sources close to him said that if he wins, Trump intends to put pressure on both Ukraine and Russia to force them to sit down at the negotiating table - he threatens Ukraine with the end of military aid, and Russia, on the contrary, by its increase.

Republicans in the US Congress have been blocking the allocation of a new package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of $60 billion for a long time. After weeks of negotiations, the Democratic-dominated Senate did approve the package, but the Republican-dominated House of Representatives could block it.

The USA is the largest supplier of military aid to Ukraine. Germany is in second place.
