It's no secret that our beloved smartphones constantly irradiate us...Almost each of us simply cannot imagine life without a smartphone and do not always think about the fact that the operation of this very smartphone affects our health.
The German Federal Service, which deals with radiation protection, has published a list of smartphones that, in their opinion, have the least impact on human health. In fact, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is recognized as the safest smartphone model and its radiation is only 0.17 watts per kilogram.
To be honest, these numbers didn’t mean anything to me and I decided, purely for myself, to look for what these magical numbers “watts per kilogram” are and this is what I found: SAR - Specific Absorption Rate of Electromagnetic Radiation. The unit of measurement for SAR is precisely “watts per kilogram”. In short, the norm in the European Union is 2 watts per kilogram, and in the USA - 1.6 watts per kilogram.
As strange as it may seem, almost half of the positions in the table are occupied by models from Samsung - wow! And here Samsung is ahead of the rest! ZTE Axon Elite, while the LG G7 and Samsung Galaxy A8 have slightly more radiation - 0.24 watts per kilogram, which in my opinion is not very significant.
No matter how sad it may sound for apple phone lovers, Apple was not included in this list; moreover, the iPhone was included in the list of potentially hazardous to human health as a device with the highest level of radiation and is not recommended for US residents. Author: GEximius
