An exciting story about the American astronaut John Smith, who was sent into orbit back in 1973 on board a new spacecraft disguised as another satellite, became the property of Internet users. The first days of the mission went well, but then the ship’s maneuvering and orientation system failed. As a result, communication with the astronaut was lost. After 27 years, the mysterious satellite made itself known again, and a year later, specialists managed to remove the device from orbit, and imagine their surprise when they found Smith still alive in the cabin, who, however, was unconscious. An interesting incident occurred in 1964 during the flight of the first multi-seat spacecraft, Voskhod. Crew members said that the device was literally surrounded by unknown flying objects, which seemed to be closely watching. In September 1977, the Soviet long-term station Salyut-6 was launched into orbit. The next year, a strange event occurred: for a long time, the station was pursued by an object in the shape of a ball. Later, the crew members retracted their words, noting that it was just space debris. You can also mention the incident that happened to the Japanese astronaut Norishige Kanai. In just three weeks of being on board the International Space Station, he gained as much as 9 centimeters in height. As a rule, changes in the height of people in zero gravity are 1-2 centimeters, but the case of the Japanese representative is truly impressive.
